TRUSU is hosting the TRU Pride Parade on Wednesday, September 27th from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. In support of 2 Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual, (2SLGBTQIA+) students and the TRUSU Pride Parade, the TRU Library invites you to take a Pride Shelfie.
During the week of September 25th to 29th, the TRU Library Student Ambassadors will be available in the Learning Commons in the House of Learning to help you take Shelfies. The Pride Shelfie includes a pride themed book display and props so you can take a photo and share your support of the campus (and the library) as a safe space for everyone. Post your Shelfies to your favourite social media platform with #trulibrarypride #trupride #trusu
A selection of 2SLGBTQIA+ books and resources available in the library’s collection will also be on display.
