Kathryne Brattland was the successful candidate for the one-year Limited Term Contract position of Reference and Instruction Librarian. Kathryne brings a wealth of experience to support our liaison teams and provide reference and instruction services. She holds a Master of Library and Information Studies (University of Alberta, 2017) and a Bachelor of Education with Distinction (University of Alberta, 2012). Kathryne’s professional background includes roles as Exams Supervisor in Accessibility Services at Thompson Rivers University, Assistive Technology Specialist at TRU, and Library Coordinator at Nicola Valley Institute of Technology. Kathryne will be supporting the librarian liaison teams in delivering reference, research, and information literacy teaching to support to TRU faculty and students
