The 21st annual TRU Undergraduate Research and Innovation Conference takes place April 7 to 10 and will showcase outstanding research and creative inquiry from across the university. This year’s event features 22 presenters in six lecture sessions, along with approximately 145 students sharing 76 posters across four poster sessions.
Poster sessions will take place on the first floor of the House of Learning in the Learning Commons. Lecture sessions will be held in HOL 269 and the OLARA Research Hub. You are encouraged to review the full program for room details and session times. The full program is available at the conference web page.
Six full class sections are presenting, including three participating through the Research Coach program. The conference also brings together individual undergraduate researchers from a wide range of disciplines and fields of study.
The event is free and open to the TRU and Kamloops communities. You are invited to attend, support our students, and help highlight the strength of undergraduate research at TRU.
If you have questions or would like to participate in next year’s conference, contact Elizabeth Rennie, Instruction and Research Services Librarian, at erennie@tru.ca.
