The TRU Campus and Kamloops communities are invited to the 2025 Undergraduate Research Showcase, happening December 1–3 in the House of Learning Learning Commons. Co-hosted by the Office of the Vice-President Research and TRU Library, this annual event highlights the creativity and hard work of TRU undergraduate students through engaging poster presentations.

Showcase Schedule

Monday, Dec. 1 | 12–2 p.m.

• CHEM 2100 – Introductory Analytical Chemistry

• RESP 2720 – Professional Issues in Health Care

Tuesday, Dec. 2 | 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.

• EPHY 2200 – Electrical Properties of Materials | 8–10 a.m.

• GEOG 351 – Rural Geography | 10 a.m.–12 p.m.

• PSYC 2110 – Research Methods in Psychology | 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 3 | 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

• COOP 1000 – Career Management

• GEOG 1000 – Planet Earth: An Introduction to Earth System Science

Most of these classes are part of TRU’s Research Coach program, which pairs upper-level students with instructors to mentor first- and second-year students through the research process. Coaches help design projects, guide planning and analysis, and support students in presenting their findings.
